EFFICIENT ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION INTERVENTION MONITORING SYSTEM

INTRODUCING ENISCOPE THE PROFESSIONAL REAL-TIME ENERGY

Central Management System For Domestic, Commercial And Industrial Consumers Through The Effectiveness Of Feedback On Energy Consumption

We hereby propose a Central Interactive Energy Management System Deployable on Domestic, Commercial and Industrial Electrical System with the primary objective of Changing Energy Consumption Behavior. With the right or efficient use of energy, more consumers can be served and infrastructural management can be more friendly, and cost per user can gradually decline. Hence the importance of feedback in making energy more visible and more amenable to understanding and control.

ENISCOPE CASE STUDY 01
CUSTOMER COMMENTS
“Eniscope has reduced our night hours consumption by 87%. This represents a saving of €4743.24 per year just on out-of-hours costs”
 ENISCOPE CASE STUDY 02
StyleMark, makers of Polaroid Eyewear, are the world’s largest supplier of sunglasses. In an effort to get their energy costs under control, they turned to Eniscope. The initial trial on the test panel resulted in a 50% energy reduction. This equated to over $10,000 of savings and StyleMark subsequently commissioned Eniscope in multiple locations. They are on course to achieve facility wide savings of 20% in the first year.
A required monitoring device equipped with CSD/GPRS/SMS-GSM Wireless Modem for use on public mobile telephone networks shall be installed alongside the pre-paid meter.

Characteristic Of System

  1. Easy To Install
  2. Intelligent Network Watchdog
  3. Remote Configuration And DiagnosticsTo Minimise Site Visits
  4. Modem Compatible Communications Data Rates UpTo 9600bps
  5. Error Correction Including V110(For Isdn/Gsm Connected Host)
  6. Ip Connectivity For Amr Using Low Cost Gprs Services Sms Amr Capability With Programmable Readtime And Remote Diagnostics
    Local Or Remote Antenna

The system being proposed shall make the end users more conscious of what is allowed to run per time on the local electrical system and also get alert if some appliances are poorly functioning leading to higher cost of energy use. This are done locally through system feedback to consumers wireless receivers like gsm phone, tablet or laptop or the likes and also centrally to specific monitoring database in which case, a local agent on routine checks engages consumers with the aim of getting such to manage energy efficiently.

This intervention is to change the general lackadaisical wasteful energy consumption behavior of various end users. The goal to bring energy use per customer down by 50% and increase the no of end users by 100% without necessarily upgrading infrastructure.

Why The Necessity To Manage Power

The need for efficient energy consumption cannot be over emphasized moreso, we have a huge shortfall in our Power Generation; dwindling around 4MW and targeting 40MW in 6years. We also have huge complexities in the Distribution Chain.
By the time all these issues become obvious and prevalent, the power sector investors will have to factor in all the logistical eventualities to determine the cost of energy. We shall put the first appreciable power stability records in the 5 year of full privatization of the power sector
Hence, Government will have to triple their effort if the 2020 dream is to be anything to look forward to.

We do not think seriously that we are anywhere near where we should be; looking at the milestones of the 2020 vision; there will be a lot of catching up to do.
But we can all consciously make adjustments on how we consume the available power. It is unfortunate that we have a huge level of waste in the way we consume power supply. We shall be able to make up to 50% of the wasted power useful to us, if we collectively cub the wasted energy.
Most domestic energy use, most of the time, is invisible to the user. Most people have only a vague idea of how much energy they are using for different purposes and what sort of difference they could make by changing day-to-day behaviour or investing in efficiency measures.
